Meet the Team

Dr. Kevin Benoit


Dr. Benoit has been helping pets and their families in the Edmonton area for the past five years as an emergency veterinarian. Before that, he mentored under his father for two years in family veterinary practice. Dr. Benoit is excited to be developing long-standing relationships with his patients and their people; to be a part of their health and well-being. He and Jessica, his wife, now welcome you to their practice, Companion Veterinary Clinic!

Jessica Benoit graduated from the NAIT Animal Heath Technology program, here in Edmonton. She has a special interest in pet behavior. Jessica loves teaching clients and pets how to strengthen their bond with one another through positive methods of training. She is proud of the great team at Companion Veterinary Clinic and looks forward to meeting your family and furry friends.


Registered Veterinary Technologist

Alison graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at NAIT in 2009. She has worked with small animals and exotic pets in her career. Her special interest is in anesthesiology and surgery. In her spare time she enjoys riding her pony Buffy and spending time with her cat Baby Kitty (pictured).

Lindsey graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at Lakeland College in Vermilion, AB in 2012. She has a special interest in dentistry and can’t wait to start helping your furry friends have some nice pearly whites! Lindsey enjoys painting and spending time outdoors with her dogs, Kokanee, Skye, her cat Dallas, and her four chickens. She is excited to be a part of the Companion Veterinary Clinic team.



Client Service Representative

Kyla graduated from the NAIT Veterinary Administrative Assistant program with honors in spring 2011. Originally from B.C., she moved to Edmonton to pursue her interest in animals and client relations. She shares her home with her husband, her son, two cats, and two dogs.

Nicole was born and raised in Edmonton but spent several years traveling the world, mostly throughout Europe and New Zealand. She loves animals and has many of her own. Nicole is an essential member of our team, voluteering at all or most training classes, runs Puppy Playtime, and would like to become a CPDT (Certified Professional Dog Trainer).



Veterinary Medical Assitant

Hannah graduated from the NAIT Veterinary Medical Assistant program in the spring of 2016. She would like to go back to school in the fall of 2017 to enter the AHT program at NAIT. In her spare time she teaches a dance class and competes around Canada. When she’s not busy dancing she’s at home with her small dog named Febe. We are delighted to have her be apart of our team at Companion Veterinary Clinic.



Client Service Representative

Taylor graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in English. She is very happy to be a part of the Companion Veterinary Clinic team and looks forward to meeting you and your pets! In her free time, Taylor enjoys sketching and reading on the deck with the company of her cat, Mia.
